Fourth schoolproject of our first year,"The hotel project". In groups of four this project focused on teamwork and ability to follow a common concept interpreted into individual scenes - Individual rooms/areas of a concieved hotel concept was divided within the group! Placed in the beautiful surroundings of the islandic nature of Rejkijavik our hotel was ment for the stressed out hardworker, in groups or as lone travelers, looking for a serene retreat too recharge the batteries with peace, quiet and anti-stress detox. Seen above is my tribute to the project, a visualization of the open spa/bath area of Hotel Aurora, unique in its use of a "built-in" and preserved hot spring found on site and open ceiling where wooden slates let refreshing air and crisp sunlight enter the room.
