Johanna O. Andersson

Hi there! My name is Johanna Andersson and - making me all too happy - you seem to have found your way to my portfolio!
As an of recent graduate student of the two year program of Architectural Visualization at YRGO, Gothenburg, I'm currently completing my studies abroad! My 12 month long internship as an 3d artist "in the making" at londonbased studio Pixelflakes is now bittersweetly coming to an end and posing as the very last chapter of my time as a student - I'm NOW itching to go out into the world!
In other words, with help of great mentors I've been and am still learning how to make magic happen behind the screen and creating architectural imagery. Mixed with my past experience of 3d graphics and animation, a previous bachelor in informatics, I am now determent to hone that knowledge into the shapes of creative storytelling and depiction of architechtural space.
And at this point I'm already in love with archviz...
With tools like 3ds Max, Corona, Vray, Forest Pack, Rail Clone, Photoshop and many more I'm learning to create atmospheric imagery, communicating the vibes, placing, functions and forms of amazing architectural ideas - interior and exterior alike - and how to give shape to what has not yet been created in our real life communities.
At times when I'm able to create an interesting scenery, playing with lights, shadows and colours to set the mood as planed, telling a story just right - everything seemingly within my grasp with a mouseclick away - That's where I love it the most.
If you can't find me behind the screen I'm most likely out for a refill (coffee of course), nose first in my sketchpad daydreaming or completely lost in great music, singing along off-key somewhere!

Do you think I might sound like a good fit for your company?
Please contact me by email below, I would love to meet you and have a chat!
